Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Formal training and experience in financial accounting, cost accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
• This position is ITAR-restricted and requires U.S. person status.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial forecasts, weekly forecast updates, financial and operational results analysis, monthly account reconciliation, and inventory analysis.
• Perform SOX compliance related tasks and Howmet Self-Assessment audits.
• Review, analyze, and report monthly manufacturing variances and plant expenses impacting job costing.
• Cross-functional development of departmental budgets with reviews and periodic reporting of key metrics.
• Assist auditors on facility audits and provide management with reports on price and profitability drivers.
• Post journal entries and perform monthly account reconciliations as needed.
• Support internal and external reporting to corporate on a monthly basis.
• Handle other accounting tasks as needed.
