Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Hampton, VA is seeking a Finance Analyst to support day-to-day financial activities of manufacturing operations, with a focus on capital expenditure management, fixed asset accounting, inventory control, and financial reporting.

You will work closely with Finance, Operations, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to monitor capital projects, maintain accurate records, strengthen internal controls, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across departments.
• Authorized to work in the United States; export-control restrictions apply.

Responsabilidades

• Capital Expenditure Management: monitor projects, track budgets, review status, ensure policy compliance.
• Capital Project Accounting: maintain CWIP, coordinate capitalization and closeout.
• Fixed Asset Accounting: support additions, transfers, disposals, and inventories.
• Capital Compliance & Internal Controls: review expenditures for policy compliance and risks.
• Inventory Accounting & Controls: support reconciliations, cycle counts, discrepancies.
• Month-End Closing & Reporting: prepare journals, reconciliations, accruals, schedules.
• Financial & Operational Analysis: analyze spending and results for variances and improvements.
• Spend Management: monitor plant spending and PO commitments with departments.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with Operations, Engineering, Procurement on financial issues.
• Process Improvement & Audit Support: improve reporting, strengthen controls, assist with SOX/audits.
