Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
• This position is subject to ITAR requiring U.S. person status.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly forecasts, weekly forecast updates, financial and operational results analysis, monthly account reconciliation, and inventory analysis.
• Perform Howmet Self-Assessment audits and ensure SOX compliance.
• Review, analyze, and report monthly manufacturing variances and plant expenses affecting job costing.
• Cross-functional development of departmental budgets with reviews and periodic reporting of key metrics.
• Assist internal and external auditors on facility audits.
• Provide management with reports on factors affecting prices and profitability; post journal entries and assist in closing.
