Job summary

Domtar Corporation in Hawesville, KY is seeking an Engineering and Maintenance Manager to lead the Maintenance, Reliability, IT and Engineering Teams. As a member of the Mill leadership, you will develop strategies to improve asset reliability and oversee safety, cost, and project delivery.

You will drive preventive, predictive and reliable manufacturing processes, manage capital projects and CMMS, and mentor a growing team to reach higher performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• 10+ years’ experience in maintenance and reliability in an industrial environment.
• Experience implementing and optimizing reliability maintenance systems and processes.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to the Maintenance, Reliability, IT and Engineering Teams.
• Develop strategies to improve asset reliability and capital project delivery.
• Manage maintenance costs and capital project portfolio to meet budgets and objectives.
• Lead preventive, predictive and reliable manufacturing processes following One Domtar Standards.
• Mentor Maintenance, Reliability & Engineering Teams to higher performance.
• Lead continuous improvement and root cause analyses on asset failures.
