Job summary

Domtar in Plymouth, NC, is seeking a Maintenance Manager to provide strategic leadership for the Maintenance, Reliability and E/I/Controls functions. Reporting to the Mill Manager, you will develop short- to long-term strategies to improve asset reliability and maintenance cost efficiency.

You will lead and develop maintenance and reliability teams, ensure safe, on-time work, manage CMMS and spare parts inventories, and partner with operating departments to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in maintenance leadership.
• Minimum 15 years leading maintenance in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Experience with safety, costs, reliability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and reliability processes to maximize asset life.
• Ensure planned work is on time and on budget.
• Lead preventive, predictive and reliable manufacturing practices.
• Develop and implement strategies with Mill leadership.
• Manage CMMS and optimize spare parts inventory.
• Lead and develop maintenance and reliability teams.
• Collaborate with operating departments for performance improvements.
• Drive KPI improvements and cost targeting.
• Contribute to safety and compliance programs.
