Job summary

Ardagh Group is seeking an EHS Manager to oversee safety operations at the designated plant and support the EHS program focused on preventing injuries and illnesses. You will lead planning, execution, and continuous improvement of environmental, health, and safety programs to protect employees, visitors, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Three years of environmental health and safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret OSHA and EPA regulations and related safety/environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Leads planning, execution, monitoring, and continuous improvement of EHS programs.
• Manage programs to protect health and safety of employees, visitors, and contractors and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify and correct potentially hazardous activities and ensure training is conducted as required.
• Promote safe and professional work practices compliant with EHS policies and regulations.
• Report EHS incidents, root cause analysis results, corrective actions, and communications to stakeholders.
