Job summary

Ardagh Glass Packaging (AGP) is hiring an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager to oversee EHS operations at the plant. This role focuses on preventing injuries, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement of safety programs.

You will lead EHS initiatives, train staff, and coordinate with regulators and stakeholders. The position requires up to 20% travel and a background in manufacturing EHS, with preferred certifications and ISO experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of environmental health and safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret OSHA and EPA regulations and related safety/environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Safety Management, Environmental Management, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g. CSP, CIH, CHMM) preferred.
• ISO 14001/45001 experience preferred.
• Experience in creating Power BI dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Leads the planning, execution, monitoring, and continuous improvement of environmental health and safety programs.
• Manage programs geared to protect the health and safety of employees, visitors, and contractors, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identifies and corrects potentially hazardous activities and trains employees on safety protocols.
• Promotes safe and professional work practices compliant with EHS policies and regulations.
• Reports EHS incidents, root causes, corrective actions, and communications to stakeholders in ARMs.
• Represents the company as the EHS subject matter expert to internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepares and submits EHS reports and records to internal and external agencies.
• Keeps abreast of the latest EHS trends, policies, and best practices.
• Comply with environmental and food safety standards in plant policies.
