Job summary

Arcwood Environmental is seeking a Manager, Plant Health & Safety to lead the health and safety programs at the facility, ensuring compliance with federal, state, local regulations and company policies while driving performance improvement.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in HSE, OSHA/PSM/DOT exposure preferred, and strong leadership to foster a proactive safety culture and effective incident prevention.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in health and safety programs.
• Experience with OSHA, OSHA PSM, and DOT is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a science, engineering or safety field is required.
• ASP/CSP certification is preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Leads, develops, and directs health and safety programs for the facility.
• Ensures compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations and Company policies.
• Drives health and safety performance improvement and builds a safety culture.
• Oversees audits of plant departments and enforces corrective actions.
• Manages incident investigations and risk assessments; tracks KPIs and metrics.
