Job summary

Ardagh Group in Bridgeton, NJ seeks an Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist to audit operations, implement safety programs, and lead worker engagement to improve EHS performance at the plant.

The role requires a high school diploma and 1 year of EHS experience in manufacturing; preferred CSP/CIH/CHMM certifications, familiarity with OSHA/EPA regulations, and BI dashboard skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Auditing operations for adherence to EHS audit protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Administer programs to protect health, safety, and environment.
• Engage with workers to identify unsafe activities and practices.
• Ensure employees are informed of EHS protocols and training is conducted.
• Promote safe work practices compliant with policies and regulations.
• Document and report audit findings, incidents, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Assist in preparing EHS reports for stakeholders and regulators.
• Stay updated on EHS trends and regulations.
