Job summary

Ardagh Glass Packaging (AGP) is seeking an Health and Safety Manager to oversee all safety operations at the Bridgeton plant. This role supports the EHS program focused on preventing injuries and illnesses and ensures compliance with OSHA/EPA regulations.

The position leads EHS program planning, execution, and continuous improvement, and will prepare reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies while representing AGP as the EHS subject matter expert.

Qualifications

• Minimum: high school diploma; 3 years EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret OSHA/EPA regulations and related safety/environmental regs.
• Excellent communication with internal and external customers.
• Willing to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and continuous improvement of EHS programs.
• Manage programs to protect employee, visitor, and contractor safety and regulatory compliance.
• Identify hazardous activities and ensure safety training is conducted as required.
• Promote safe work practices compliant with EHS policies and regulations.
• Report EHS incidents, root causes, corrective actions, and communications to stakeholders.
