Job summary

Onealmfgservices is seeking an experienced EHS professional to establish and promote a safe working environment at our Indianapolis plant. You will lead strategic safety planning, perform audits, interpret regulations, investigate incidents, and ensure regulatory compliance across the facility.

The role requires collaboration with location and corporate EH&S teams to implement standardized programs, coach staff, and drive continuous improvement in safety performance. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Occupation Safety and/or Environmental or related field is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in EHS roles involving leading and coaching employees.
• Ability to interact with all levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with all EH&S current and developing country/location regulations, codes and constraints.
• Develop and implement standardized programs to maintain full EH&S compliance and meet metrics.
• Promote worksite safety by applying knowledge of industrial processes, psychology, and health and safety laws.
• Measure plant performance and create plans focused on continuous improvement.
• Develop, review, maintain and conduct EH&S program training to enhance performance.
• Provide strategic direction to sustain a comprehensive system for hazard prevention and control.
• Implement/maintain behavior-based safety program.
• Recommend measures to protect workers from hazardous methods, processes, or materials.
• Manage Safety & Health programs within OMS plant across locations.
