Job summary

Dow in Knoxville, TN is seeking an EH&S Technician to implement the EH&S management system at a specific plant. You will provide hands-on environmental, IH and H&S support, serve as a plant resource for procedures, and coach teams on EH&S tasks to meet performance goals.

The role requires the ability to work outdoors in all weather, handle hazardous materials, and operate on a 12-hour rotating shift. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least 4 years of EH&S or manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 4+ years of EH&S or manufacturing experience.
• Willing to work 12‑hour rotating shifts and overtime.
• Able to work with hazardous materials outdoors in all weather.
• U.S. work authorization only; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Implement EH&S programs for the plant using established processes.
• Provide environmental, industrial hygiene and health & safety support.
• Serve as plant resource for EH&S information, procedures and standards.
• Coach teams on EH&S tasks and activities to achieve goals.
• Ensure compliance tasks are completed and data is reported.
