Job summary

Dow Inc. seeks an experienced EH&S leader to oversee daily safe maintenance work and implement health-safety management systems at the St Charles Operations.

You will guide plants and maintenance teams with strong initiative and influence. In this role you will coach peers and contractors, lead safety meetings, participate in pre-job reviews, and ensure compliance with Life Critical Standards while advancing continuous improvement across maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Operations, Maintenance, Safety or similar in a manufacturing environment.
• TWIC card or eligible to obtain TWIC card.
• Willing to work overtime and after hours to support plant activities.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Advocates for an inclusive culture that achieves the flawless execution of Dow's Life Critical Standards.
• Spends a minimum of 50-70% of time in the field as a technical resource and coaching teams and individuals on Health, Safety and Environmental related tasks.
• Proactively discuss and resolve EH&S issues with maintenance personnel and all contractors in area of responsibility.
• Leads maintenance area safety meetings and participates in contractor safety meetings and tailgates.
• Manages Safety Suggestion Program, Near Miss Program, area’s EHS Participation program, etc.
