Dow is seeking a Senior Production Engineer located in Knoxville, TN. The role focuses on optimizing plant operations, resolving issues, and enabling safe, cost-effective production of high-quality products.

You will work with Operations and Supply Chain to meet business goals, champion MET and automation, and lead troubleshooting with SMEs. Strong leadership and safety compliance are essential for daily plant performance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; chemical or mechanical engineering preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• US work authorization; no visa sponsorship for this position.

Aufgaben

• Translate business needs into plant production goals and plans.
• Coordinate with Integrated Supply Chain for planning, shipping, and materials.
• Determine shutdown timing with Supply Chain, Turnaround, Operations and Maintenance.
• Coach plant personnel on performance metrics and daily KPI updates.
• Collaborate with operations and SMEs to troubleshoot and optimize plant performance.
• Apply MET and process automation to improve plant operation and compliance.
• Diagnose root causes of asset utilization losses and ensure corrective actions.
• Review logbooks and alarm history to stay engaged in daily operations.
