Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Issue Purchase Orders for items consumed in the plant and receive goods into ERP.
  • Collaborate with Plant Manager on local raw material purchases and inventory demands.
  • Provide ongoing plant support and effective communication with management.
  • Order and maintain office and breakroom supplies.
  • Manage vendors and local contracts (uniforms, cleaning services, etc.).
  • Support CapEx projects and documentation.
  • Maintain cost-tracking reports for production and maintenance.
  • Consolidate production data including safety, quality, and OEE metrics.
  • Oversee administrative aspects of site services and facilities.

Job Description Summary

Leviat is seeking a Plant Administrator to perform a variety of purchasing/receiving activities. The Plant Administrator will also maintain vendor management, as well as plant office coordination. This position will work closely with all levels of management and employees to ensure safety and promote our safety culture.

  • Issue Purchase Orders for items consumed in the plant and receive goods into ERP.
  • Work with Plant Manager to ensure local raw material purchases are made on time and within inventory demand requirements.
  • Work with Plant Manager to provide ongoing plant support and communication.
  • Order and maintain office and breakroom supplies.
  • Manage vendors and serve as the point of contact for local contracts, including uniforms, cleaning services, vending services, temp agencies, copier, etc.
  • Support capital expenditure (CapEx) projects and documentation.
  • Maintain cost-tracking reports for production and maintenance activities.
  • Consolidate production data from multiple departments to include safety, quality, OEE, and inventory accuracy.
  • Oversee administrative aspects of site services.
  • Manage office facilities and supplies.
  • Follow and enforce established safety guidelines; promote a safe workplace.
  • Work with Plant Manager to maintain cleanliness and neatness around the office.
  • Organize and maintain accurate records and metrics, auditing as necessary.
  • Track corrective actions resulting from audits or safety events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Qualifications
  • High school diploma / equivalent
  • 2+ years related experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
  • Able to work independently and as a member of various teams
  • Versatile, flexible, and willing to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Able to perform diversified clerical functions and basic accounting procedures.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • Strong safety background and attendance record
Physical Environment
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Capability to stand or walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
  • This position may require various physical activities, including but not limited to walking, standing, bending, stretching, and using hands and fingers to grasp, push, and lift items.
