Job summary

Leviat is seeking a Production Scheduler to develop and manage manufacturing plans aligned with customer demand, inventory targets, and production capacity. This role collaborates with Sales, Supply Chain, Production, Logistics, and Customer Service to ensure on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Strong safety background and attendance record.

Responsibilities

  • Use ERP systems to create, maintain, and adjust production schedules.
  • Optimize labor and resource utilization to maximize efficiency.
  • Spend time on the production floor to validate schedule execution and KPIs.
  • Monitor on-time completion of MRDs.
  • Review Bills of Material for accuracy to ensure proper production execution.
  • Verify availability and readiness of raw materials.
  • Identify scheduling constraints and communicate concerns.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Production to schedule shipments.
  • Partner with Production Manager to align demand with capacity.
  • Post daily production results for accurate visibility.
  • Act as liaison between sales and factory for order status and changes.
  • Maintain scheduling records and provide timely reporting.
  • Perform additional duties to support business needs.

Job Description Summary

Leviat is seeking a Production Scheduler to develop and manage manufacturing plans aligned with customer demand, inventory targets, and production capacity. This role works cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Production, Logistics, and Customer Service teams to ensure on-time delivery, efficient operations, and high levels of customer satisfaction.

The Production Scheduler must be detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to learn Leviat’s products and manufacturing processes. This position requires regular time spent on the production floor to ensure schedule execution, KPI accountability, material readiness, and data accuracy. Reporting directly to the Plant Admin Supervisor, this role works closely with all levels of management and employees to support operational excellence while actively promoting and reinforcing Leviat’s safety culture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Utilize ERP systems to create, maintain, and adjust production schedules; generate reports to support planning, performance tracking, and decision-making.
  • Optimize labor and resource utilization to maximize efficiency and respond quickly to production disruptions or priority changes.
  • Spend time on the production floor to validate schedule execution and ensure accountability to key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Monitor and drive on-time completion of Manufacturing Requirements Documents (MRDs).
  • Review Bills of Material (BOMs) for accuracy and completeness to ensure correct material planning and production execution.
  • Verify the availability, accuracy, and readiness of raw materials to support production schedules and minimize downtime.
  • Identify scheduling constraints, capacity issues, and process gaps; communicate findings and elevate concerns as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Production teams to schedule and prioritize daily customer shipments.
  • Partner with the Production Manager to align customer demand with available production capacity.
  • Post daily production results and updates to ensure accurate, timely visibility of manufacturing output.
  • Provide real-time communication of production completion dates, including status updates for partial and complete customer shipments.
  • Serve as a liaison between sales representatives and the factory by answering general inquiries, checking order status, and coordinating production order changes.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling records, prepare required documentation, and provide timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform additional duties assigned to support business and operational needs.

Physical Environment
