Job summary

Papa Johns is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise shifts and ensure high quality products and customer service while driving restaurant profitability. This role supports operational execution of company policies, procedures, programs and systems and ensures compliance with applicable laws and ethical practices.

The position requires leading by example, maintaining product quality, and managing labor and costs while ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are met.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
• Successful and stable employment history.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work long hours (32+ hours), including nights, weekends and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to guidelines and expectations for each station, including dough management and accurate portioning.
• Contributes to achieving the restaurant’s product goals and minimizes customer complaints.
• Exhibits core values, maintains positive attitude, and collaborates with team.
• Ensures adequate shift coverage and provides feedback to correct problems.
• Manages cash handling and supports inventory control to minimize loss.
