Job summary

Papa John's is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise shifts and work areas in our restaurant to ensure high quality products and customer service, supporting restaurant profitability and compliance with company policies and laws.

You will manage shift coverage, control costs, and help uphold safety, cleanliness and performance standards, with focus on teamwork, hospitality, and consistent product quality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
• Successful and stable employment history.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work long hours (32+ hours generally required), scheduled or unscheduled, including nights, weekends and emergencies.
• Ability to successfully perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to guidelines, techniques and expectations for each station including dough management, accuracy and proper portioning; performs assigned duties.
• Contributes to achieving the Company’s product goals and responds to customer needs; complies with TM handbook policies.
• Exemplifies core values and maintains a positive attitude; adaptable to change.
• Ensures adequate shift coverage and maintains quality, service, and performance (MCE readiness, food/labor costs, cleanliness) within standards.
• Contributes to profit goals by managing inventory and cash using company systems and guidelines.
