Job summary

The Mint Gaming Hall is hiring for a Pizza Kitchen role focused on supporting the Specialty Room Chef in food quality, inventory, and training for a high-volume operation.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of Cook and Pizza culinary experience, with a culinary degree preferred but not required, and be 21+. The team values strong training, adherence to SOPs, and safe, efficient service during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years Cook and Pizza culinary experience.
• Culinary degree preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must pass pre-screening and background checks.
• Ability to work varied shifts including days, swing, late nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support Specialty Room Chef in all aspects of food quality and cost control.
• Document recipes, measurements, quantities, and other information for consistency.
• Train pizza team on recipes and monitor adherence.
• Ensure standard kitchen SOPs are met consistently.
• Assist leadership with back of house training and onboarding.
• Assist in interviewing and onboarding of pizza parlor staff.
• Schedule staff and assist with payroll activities as needed.
• Communicate with front of house management and staff.
• Lead food prep for service and ensure items meet approved standards.
• Oversee line during service to manage pace and quality during high volume.
