Job summary

DynaTen Corporation, a Comfort Systems USA Company, is hiring a Superintendent - Piping to lead commercial mechanical piping installations, including chilled water, heating water, condensate, refrigerant, and steam. You will convert project requirements into actionable work plans, develop field talent, and coordinate closely with project teams and trade partners.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial mechanical construction experience in piping with leadership responsibility.
• Strong ability to plan labor, read schedules, and lead safe, productive installation work.
• Knowledge of drawings, specifications, codes, testing, and quality standards.
• Ability to use mobile devices and standard construction software for drawings, reporting, time, and documentation.
• Strong communication, coaching, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all assigned trade crews on commercial mechanical piping projects.
• Develop and communicate project work plans using drawings, schedules, and budgets.
• Plan manpower, tools, equipment, and work areas to support production.
• Review documents for constructability issues and request information when needed.
• Coordinate sequencing with management, other trades, vendors, and inspectors.
• Verify installations against drawings and specifications; drive corrections.
• Track quantities, labor, schedules, materials; provide reporting.
• Coach employees, assign work, document performance, and address concerns.
• Lead pre-task planning, hazard analyses, toolbox talks, and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
