Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Piping Superintendent to lead field operations on large commercial mechanical piping projects across the United States. You will oversee manpower, production, safety, quality, scheduling, and coordination with project management, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades.

The ideal candidate has 5-10+ years of mechanical/piping field leadership, hands-on experience with hydronic piping systems, chillers, boilers, and a strong knowledge of IMC, IPC & IBC

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of mechanical/piping field leadership experience.
• Experience running multimillion-dollar commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of hydronic piping systems and associated equipment.
• Journeyman or Master Mechanical/Plumbing license preferred.
• Travel to project sites nationwide as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop piping/mechanical field crews.
• Plan and direct daily production for contracted scopes of work.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and project schedules.
• Oversee installation of hydronic and mechanical piping systems.
• Coordinate work with GC, subcontractors, inspectors, and other trades.
• Identify and resolve field conflicts before they impact production.
• Ensure installations meet codes and quality standards.
• Maintain strong safety standards and site practices.
• Build relationships with customers and stakeholders.
