Job summary

UPS Industrial Services, LLC. is seeking an experienced Superintendent of Piping to lead piping activities on industrial and commercial construction projects.

You will oversee layout, fabrication, installation, hydro-testing, and turnover, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and budget alignment. Strong leadership, collaboration across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical teams, and extensive piping/blueprint experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent with 10 years of experience.
• 5+ years as Piping General Foreman in construction, industrial, or maintenance.
• Experience coordinating critical path and ability to read blueprints and Isometrics.
• TWIC Card may be required; OSHA 30 is desired but not mandatory.
• Ability to travel up to 75% and work in field environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage piping system installation including layout, fabrication, welding, hydro-testing, flushing, and turnover.
• Develop work plans and sequencing aligned with project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and client standards.
• Supervise General Foremen, Foremen, and craft professionals.
• Coordinate daily/weekly activities and optimize labor and equipment utilization.
• Lead safety meetings, conduct field safety audits, and enforce PPE requirements.
• Interface with engineering, procurement, and other disciplines to resolve issues.
• Maintain turnover packages and as-built documentation.
