Environmental Air Systems in High Point, NC is seeking a Pipe Superintendent to lead a team of pipe welders, fitters, and helpers in prefabrication of industrial HVAC hydronic piping systems.

You will oversee installation activities for chilled water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensate water systems, emphasize safety, manage project schedules, and hire skilled crew members to support a thriving modular and on-site fabrication operation in the Southeast.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supervision.
• Familiarity with flowline manufacturing.
• Knowledge of pipe fabrication methods.
• Excellent time management skills and problem solving abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Strong interpersonal skills for coordinating teams.
• Fluency in email, spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation of industrial hydronic piping systems including chilled water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensed water.
• Prioritize safety and ensure the team completes audits and all EAS safety requirements.
• Manage project schedules.
• Maintain tool inspection reports.
• Review submittals, installation, and operation manuals.
• Interview and hire new employees to join the pipe department.
