TP Mechanical Contractors seeks a skilled foreman to coordinate piping and equipment installations for commercial systems. You will read blueprints, communicate with subcontractors, and lead a crew while representing the company professionally on-site.

The role involves preplanning, reviewing drawings with CAD, scheduling, safety oversight, and ensuring quality workmanship from fabrication through turnover to the Project Manager.

Formación

• Experience/Qualifications Required: Minimum 5 years commercial experience in field plumbing, sprinkler or heating operations.
• Stable work history.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee on-site activity regarding manpower, materials and scheduling; serve as point of contact for customer/contractor/owner.
• Enforce safety as top priority; conduct pre-safety meetings and toolbox talks; OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Pre-plan new jobs by reviewing plans/specs, identifying pre-fab opportunities, and planning materials and crew size.
• Review CAD drawings before printing; sign off on shop drawings and FAB prints; attend coordination meetings.
• Schedule work to minimize downtime; plan crew and tools; ensure material on-site when needed.
• Monitor productivity by comparing estimates to actuals; use Four Week Look Ahead; motivate team.
• Handle orders and deliveries, manage back orders, issue purchase orders; maintain submittal log.
• Communicate weekly with Project Manager on productivity, RFIs, submittals, schedules, and manpower.
• Walk job daily to verify progress, quality and safety.
• Manage personnel, subs and vendors; maintain team morale with fair decisions.
• Close out jobs with final testing, start-up sign-off, as-builts, punch lists; hand over to PM.
• Cleanup and demobilize by returning surplus material and cleaning trailers.
