Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation is seeking a Field Engineering Leader to manage a team responsible for work planning, material management, and quality control on LNG and other energy projects. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to design and standards, and coordination with subcontractors across multiple US locations.

Ideal candidates have extensive supervisory experience on heavy industrial construction within energy, petrochemical, or power sectors, with strong communication and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 10–13 years of relevant experience or 14–17 years of relevant work experience.
• Heavy industrial construction experience in supervision on a construction site is required.
• Experience in oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical, minerals processing, or power generating station construction.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of engineering and construction methods and processes gained through experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide ES&H leadership and safety program execution for piping teams.
• Perform end-of-year performance reviews for field staff.
• Oversee discipline system installations and quality documentation.
• Develop installation work packages and support the construction schedule.
• Coordinate with field supervision on workforce, tools, equipment, and material needs.
• Prepare field material requisitions and monitor purchase orders/deliveries.
• Resolve on-site technical issues with engineering and fabricators using formal documentation.
