Job summary

Tetra Tech Inc. is seeking a Hydraulics Engineer to provide hydraulic analysis for pipelines, pump stations, and tank projects nationwide. Work includes steady state and transient analysis using SPS or AFT, with opportunities for advanced training and professional licensure.

Based in Englewood, CO or other listed offices, you will join a multidisciplinary team of consultants with 40+ years in Oil & Gas. Travel up to 10% may be required; salary range targets reflect market norms for the role.

Qualifications

• B.S. in ABET accredited Engineering program with 3-8 years of relevant experience.
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE).
• Willing to attain PE licensure.
• A pre-employment drug screening is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs pipeline hydraulics (steady state & transient) analysis.
• Builds hydraulic models in SPS or AFT for pipelines and facilities.
• Assists with pump sizing and control philosophy selection.
• Programs transient cases and analyzes results to make recommendations.
• Prepare formal reports documenting studies.
• Conduct field investigations to support detailed engineering.
