Job summary

Tetra Tech in Englewood, CO, leads hydraulic engineering for pipelines, pump stations, and terminal projects nationwide. The role covers steady state and transient analyses of liquids, using SPS or AFT software, with emphasis on design recommendations and reports.

Based in an in-office setting with travel to project sites, you will collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams and contribute to integrated solutions for oil, gas, water, and energy infrastructure.

Qualifications

• B.S. in ABET-accredited Engineering with 3–8 years’ relevant experience.
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE).
• Willing to attain PE licensure.
• Pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Strong understanding of ASME B31.4/B31.3, API, CFR 195.

Responsibilities

• Performs pipeline hydraulics (steady state & transient) analyses.
• Builds hydraulic models in SPS or AFT.
• Assist with pump sizing and control philosophy.
• Prepare formal reports documenting studies.
• Field data gathering and site observations.
• Conducts tank/terminal hydraulics calculations and model reviews.
• Participates in internal/external review meetings.
