Job summary

Tetra Tech Inc. invites a hydraulics engineer to join our team supporting pipelines, pump stations, and terminal/tank projects nationwide.

The role emphasizes steady state and transient hydraulic analyses for various fluids using industry-standard software. Based in one of several offices including Houston, CO, MT, or WY, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to design evaluations, reporting, and client reviews.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• FE exam passed or completed; PE licensure encouraged.
• 3-8 years in hydraulics/ pipeline engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform steady state and transient hydraulic analyses for pipelines and facilities.
• Build hydraulic models using SPS or AFT tools.
• Assist with pump sizing, control philosophy, and relief systems.
• Prepare formal studies and reports documenting results.
