Job summary

Tetra Tech Inc. is seeking a Hydraulics Engineer to provide hydraulic analysis for pipelines, pump stations, and tank projects across diverse sites. The role involves steady state and transient analysis using advanced hydraulics software and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

The candidate will engage in design engineering, complete field data gathering, and produce formal reports. Travel up to 10% and an in-office work setting are expected in Englewood, CO or other listed locations.

Qualifications

• BS in an ABET-accredited engineering program with 3-8 years of relevant experience.
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE).
• Willing to attain PE licensure.
• Pre-employment drug screening required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Strong understanding of ASME B31.4 & B31.3, API standards, CFR 195.

Responsibilities

• Perform pipeline hydraulics (steady state & transient) analysis.
• Build hydraulic models in SPS or AFT.
• Size pumps and select control philosophies.
• Prepare formal studies and reports.
• Conduct field data gathering to support engineering design.
