Qualifications

• Must maintain valid driver’s license in state of residency
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite products
• Ability to train other technicians and/or sign off on qualifications
• High school diploma or GED is required; additional corrosion tech credentials preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide for design, installation, operation, inspection and maintenance of cathodic protection systems within an assigned segment of the pipeline system
• Maintain regulatory knowledge and complete required documentation (OSHA, DOT, EPA)
• Investigates and analyzes corrosive conditions for existing and proposed facilities
• Perform cathodic protection design including current requirement calculations and soil resistivity testing
• Generate and maintain reports covering rectifiers, bonds, pipeline isolation and annual corrosion control reports
• Comply with SOPs and regulatory requirements; ensure safety of facilities and personnel
