Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a skilled technician to apply corrosion knowledge for maintenance and troubleshooting of pipelines, facilities, and associated devices. The role involves design, inspection, and preventive tasks to support safe and reliable operations in the Odessa area.

Responsibilities include monitoring cathodic protection, performing metal coatings evaluation, and maintaining compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Ability to train other technicians and/or sign off on qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform design, installation, operation, inspection and maintenance of cathodic protection systems.
• Maintain regulatory documentation (OSHA, DOT, EPA).
• Conduct corrosion surveys and analyze protective coatings.
• Read and interpret pipeline maps, as-builts and PLD’s.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and participate in PHMSA/state audits.
