Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking a corrosion-focused technician to repair, install, troubleshoot, and maintain cathodic protection systems across gas and liquid facilities and pipelines. The role emphasizes design, inspection, and maintenance to ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include conducting soil resistivity tests, evaluating coating conditions, and generating annual corrosion control reports, while adhering to safety policies and performing LOTO

Qualifications

• Must maintain valid driver's license in state of residency.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite products.
• Ability to train other technicians and/or sign off on qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, operate, inspect and maintain cathodic protection systems.
• Perform pipe-to-soil potential surveys and read outs for compliance.
• Evaluate coating conditions and perform remaining strength calculations.
• Generate corrosion control reports and maintain related databases.
• Inspect welds and support corrosion-related repairs on pipelines and facilities.
