Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking a corrosion-focused technician to design, install, and maintain cathodic protection systems across pipeline facilities in Texas. You will perform surveys, collect readings, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements on site.

The role involves interpreting maps and drawings, coordinating with teams, and maintaining documentation while upholding the company’s safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license in the resident state.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite products.
• Ability to train other technicians and/or sign off on qualifications.
• Knowledge of corrosion control and pipeline systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, operate, inspect and maintain cathodic protection systems within pipeline segments or facilities.
• Maintain regulatory documentation (OSHA, DOT, EPA, etc.).
• Investigate corrosive conditions and assess facilities for corrosion control.
• Perform surveys and readings for cathodic protection and soil/ground readings.
• Prepare reports covering rectifiers, bonds, isolation and corrosion control activities.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed on site.
