Job summary

Rowan in Downtown Naperville is seeking a Studio Sales Associate to deliver a passionate, customer-focused experience for piercing and jewelry shoppers. You will assist with ear piercings, guide product choices, and uphold Rowan’s cleanliness and safety standards in a weekend-friendly, hourly role.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and welcome customers, helping create a celebratory environment.
• Check customers in or help them book appointments using POS and systems.
• Help customers choose and style piercing and hypoallergenic jewelry.
• Answer questions about piercing procedures, aftercare, and product details on floor or by phone.
• Promote and upsell Rowan’s products including non-piercing jewelry and aftercare kits.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Rowan’s product offerings and care instructions.
• Meet or exceed individual sales targets and convert piercing customers to non-piercing jewelry.
• Keep the studio clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Follow health and safety regulations related to piercing procedures and hygiene.
• Assist with inventory management and displays.
• Collaborate with Studio Managers, Assistant Managers, and Studio Nurses Piercers.
• Attend team meetings and training sessions to improve skills and product knowledge.
• Process transactions accurately, including sales, returns, and exchanges.
• Maintain accurate customer records and consent/waiver forms.
