Job summary

Mejuri is seeking a Piercing Lead to join our studios in the US. You will elevate customer service, oversee the piercing journey from greeting to aftercare, and ensure hygiene and safety standards are maintained across the studio.

You will mentor staff, manage bookings, and help drive profitability while embracing Mejuri's values. The role requires 2+ years of piercing experience, familiarity with threadless jewellery, OSHA certifications, autoclave use, and knowledge of local laws.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with needle piercing.
• Experience with threadless jewellery.
• Up to date First Aid and Blood-borne Pathogens OSHA Certifications.
• Experience with autoclave or statim.
• Knowledge of local piercing law requirements.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety protocols surrounding piercing procedures.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the piercing studio operations with Store Services and Store Manager.
• Maintain health and safety standards and cleanliness of the studio.
• Explain aftercare and risks to clients; tailor care to materials.
• Lead by example on customer-experience and selling Mejuri services.
• Schedule management and coordination with store staff.
• Order equipment and ensure paperwork and records are compliant.
