Job summary

Mejuri is seeking a Piercing Lead who will be the heartbeat of the Mejuri Piercing Studio. You will elevate customer service, boost profitability, and ensure safety and hygiene standards are met while guiding clients through piercing procedures, aftercare, and product recommendations.

You will collaborate with the Store Manager and Store Services to optimize studio operations, manage inventory and scheduling, and mentor teammates in delivering Mejuri’s customer experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of needle piercing experience.
• Experience with threadless jewelry.
• OSHA First Aid/Blood-borne Pathogens certifications.
• Experience using an autoclave (Statim).
• Knowledge of local piercing laws and permits.
• Understanding health and safety protocols for piercing.
• Ability to mentor and train others.
• Bonus: selling products at a fast-growing company.

Responsibilities

• Oversee piercing studio operations and customer journey from welcoming to aftercare education.
• Ensure health and safety standards and proper documentation are maintained.
• Collaborate with Store Manager and Store Services to optimize flow and processes.
• Update scheduling and online booking; promote services including engraving and other offerings.
• Act as Mejuri brand ambassador; build local client base and promote shop awareness.
• Provide expertise on piercing jewelry assortment, sizing, materials, and metals.
