Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of prior job experience with substantial computer usage (e.g., EMR systems)
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Previous hospital or healthcare setting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical, reception, and sitter duties for assigned patient care unit.
• Operate on-line systems to transcribe orders and enter/retrieve patient information.
• Assist with transportation coordination and scheduling for patients and families.
• Monitor and support unit operations, including filing and record keeping.
• Provide courteous patient and family support and facilitate communication with clinical staff.
