Requires a high school diploma and at least one year of healthcare or clerical experience. Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Requires high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Minimum one year related healthcare or clerical experience.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload.
• Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with a wide range of Health System staff, patients and visitors.
• Decision-making skills needed in urgent situations.
• Flexibility and the ability to work under stress.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates non-clinical support functions for the assigned nursing unit.
• Acts as liaison between nursing and ancillary departments for information or issue resolution.
• Communicates with Nurse Manager on outstanding interdepartmental issues and participates in a plan to resolve.
• Demonstrates unit/area designated competencies.
