Job summary

Tenet Healthcare's DMC Children’s Hospital of Michigan is seeking a versatile Clerical/Office Support teammate to operate in an evening shift. Under supervision, you will handle clerical duties, patient reception, and basic unit support in a busy pediatric environment.

You will use on-line systems for orders and patient data, assist with patient transport coordination, and help maintain a clean, organized unit and record-keeping. This role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Six months of prior job experience with significant computer usage.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical, reception, logistical and sitter duties for assigned patient care service.
• Operate on-line computer terminal to transcribe orders and handle patient information.
• Review patient telemetry monitors as required.
• Assist with unit maintenance and supply management.
