Job summary

Boston Aesthetics Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer with direct PICO laser experience to service, install, and maintain medical aesthetic laser systems across the U.S.

You will diagnose complex issues, perform preventive maintenance, and support product launches in collaboration with clinicians and sales teams. The role requires hands-on expertise with PICO lasers and other devices, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to travel up to 70% nationwide.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Field Service Engineer or similar technical service experience in medical aesthetics or laser industry.
• Hands-on installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing PICO laser systems – REQUIRED.
• Experience servicing additional medical laser devices beyond PICO – REQUIRED.
• Strong knowledge of laser systems, optics, electronics, power supplies, cooling and software.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, calibrate, maintain, and repair PICO laser systems and other medical aesthetic lasers.
• Diagnose laser, optical, electrical, electronic, mechanical, cooling, power, and software issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, firmware/software updates, and upgrades.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support and manage issues through to resolution.
• Collaborate with dermatologists, plastic surgeons, medical spas, and practices.
• Coordinate with Sales, Clinical, Operations, Product, and Engineering teams during installs and launches.
