Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC in Harrisburg, NC is seeking a Pick & Prep team member to actively engage guests with product preparation, sampling and storytelling about Fresh, Healthy, Seasonal and Local offerings. You will operate the Pick & Prep area, maintain sanitation, assist with stocking and guest service, and perform duties as assigned by management.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work with supervision and with computers and scales.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage guests through product preparation, sampling and suggestive selling.
• Demonstrate superior guest service and storytelling about products (Fresh, Healthy, Seasonal, Local).
• Demonstrate knife showmanship and highlight services in Pick & Prep.
• Operate Pick & Prep area according to merchandising and operational standards.
• Ensure product quality meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, stocking, merchandising and guest service as needed.
• Perform PA announcements.
• Execute all other duties as assigned by management.
