Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a friendly Pick & Prep team member to engage guests through product preparation, sampling and suggestive selling, while representing Fresh, Healthy, Seasonal and Local products.

You will operate the Pick & Prep area to merchandising standards, ensure product quality and sanitation, stock and merchandise, perform PA announcements and guest service tasks, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Friendly personality and ability to engage guests.
• Ability to work well with others and follow directions.
• Physical ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage guests through product preparation and sampling.
• Demonstrate superior guest service and story telling about products.
• Show knife skills to highlight Pick & Prep services.
• Operate the Pick & Prep area per merchandising standards.
• Ensure product quality meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety in the department.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, stocking and guest service.
• Perform PA announcements.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by management.
