Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) is seeking a field sales professional to represent BD Interventional in the USA, including Texas. The role focuses on selling the BDPI product line, building current and new accounts, and delivering in-service training with strong product and clinical data knowledge.

The successful candidate will manage sales calls, analyze customer needs, and coordinate with regional leadership to meet or exceed targets, while adhering to policies and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years outside sales experience required.
• Medical device sales experience preferred.
• Strong communication and listening skills are essential.
• Understanding of contract administration is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Sells the entire product line to current and new accounts.
• Informs customers of new and current pricing, backorders, and company policies.
• Executes comprehensive in-service of products to all concerned individuals.
• Plans sales calls on a continuous basis, managing sales time effectively.
• Develops thorough knowledge of all products and clinical data.
• Informs Regional Manager of significant market changes and competitive activity.
• Achieves prompt, mutually satisfactory solutions to customer complaints.
• Analyzes customer needs and creates solutions.
• Maintains company automobile and company property.
• Completes and processes BDPI reports including sales summary, expense, product tracking, and complaint reports.
