Job summary

The University of Rochester, located at 60 Corporate Woods, Brighton, NY 14623, seeks a capable Supervisor to lead Physician Support teams in the Outpatient ACG & CC division. You will guide scheduling, staffing, and service quality while ensuring adherence to ICARE values.

You will participate in recruiting and onboarding, train new staff, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize clinic workflows and scheduling accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 2 years relevant experience required.
• 1 year leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with surgical/appointment scheduling software and electronic medical records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and directs Physician Support employees in their assigned divisions.
• Coordinates staffing plans, assignments, and daily work for the team.
• Assists with recruiting, hiring and promotion decisions.
• Provides training on all aspects of physician support roles.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve scheduling workflows and access center metrics.
