Job summary

Akumin seeks an Account Executive to grow order and scan volume across all modalities in the Springfield, MA area. The role focuses on deepening relationships with referring providers, analyzing referral patterns, and developing strategic plans to exceed budgeted growth and revenue.

Travel of 90-95% is common as you engage in in-field selling and market development with physicians and health systems. Strong communication, presentation, and business acumen are essential to success in this

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience preferred.
• 2 years of physician sales and marketing experience in a healthcare environment.
• Prior Imaging and/or Oncology experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to execute a territory development plan.

Responsibilities

• Cultivates relationships with top strategic referrers to increase order and scan volume.
• Prospects and targets new referrers based on market trends.
• Analyzes referral patterns to plan field time and actions.
• Collaborates with territory leadership to meet budgeted growth.
• Identifies risks to referral base and leads outreach initiatives.
• Participates in meetings and business reviews as needed.
