Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking a Physician Practice Coordinator to support physician practices and improve patient access. The role acts as a liaison between management and clerical/clinical staff in the office, with duties spanning daily operations, budgeting, and staff training.

The Coordinator will assist with patient care as designated by providers, use EPIC to train staff, and lead multiple priorities while maintaining a professional environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills are required.
• Experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• Ability to interact with patients, visitors and staff professionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist Practice Manager in day-to-day operations to maximize patient access.
• Liaise between management and clerical/clinical staff in the physician office.
• Oversee daily operations, budgeting, and staff performance appraisals.
• Support training, coaching, and orientation of new staff.
