Henry Ford Health is seeking a Physician Access Coordinator to act as a strategic liaison among Community Physicians, patients, families, and internal departments. This role is essential for optimizing patient access, enhancing physician engagement, and improving operational efficiency across the health system.

The position requires autonomy, adaptability, and strong collaboration across clinical and administrative teams, with a focus on navigation, service excellence, and data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required. Post high school education or training preferred.
• Five (5) years of progressively more responsible experience in healthcare operations, patient access, or physician relations required.
• Proven ability to lead initiatives, manage complex workflows, and collaborate across departments.
• Advanced proficiency in medical electronic systems (Epic preferred) and data documentation.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Demonstrated excellence in customer service, communication, and cultural sensitivity.
