Job summary

Carolinas Medical Center is seeking a remote, full-time Onboarding Coordinator to support physician onboarding across markets. You will own the clinician transition post-offer, coordinate credentialing and licensing timelines, and partner with recruitment, credentialing, and operations to ensure smooth starts.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in healthcare administration, excellent communication, and strong organization. A Bachelor's degree is required; Master's preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years of experience in healthcare administrative/operational roles.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Own the clinician transition post-offer, coordinating with recruiting to ensure start date, terms and arrangements.
• Advise operational leaders on onboarding requirements, compliance, and readiness planning.
• Manage onboarding timelines and anticipate delays to keep starts on track.
• Maintain knowledge of licensure, credentialing, and payer enrollment relevant to markets.
• Coordinate with Licensing & Credentialing to understand status and calendar impacts on onboarding.
