Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. is seeking an experienced Physician to join our clinical team part-time (at least 3 days/week) in Knoxville, TN. You will manage your own panel and provide primary and episodic care in skilled nursing facilities, with charting from home after rounds.

You will see 16–25 patients daily, performing wellness visits, H&Ps, and coordinating with families and specialists to ensure seamless care. Licensure, board certification, and nursing-home experience preferred.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics required.
• Active and unrestricted license in the state of operation.

Responsibilities

• See roughly 16–25 patients per day, mix of long-term chronic and acute care.
• Perform annual wellness visits and H&Ps; manage chronic conditions.
• Coordinate with collaborating specialists and facility staff.

About the Role

Your Day-to-Day

You'll see roughly 16–25 patients a day a mix of long-termchronic care and acute issues. That means annual wellness visits and H&Ps,managing chronic and co-morbid conditions, responding to acute changes,reviewing meds and orders, and coordinating with collaborating specialists andfacility staff to keep care seamless. You'll also stay in touch with familiesand join care conferences where it makes sense.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accreditedmedical school.
• Board Certified (BC)requiredInternal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics (or equivalent).
• Valid, unrestrictedphysician license in the state of operation.
• Must be opted-in with Medicare
• Successful completion ofan accredited residency program.
• Skilled nursing orlong-term care experience strongly preferred.
• Strong independentclinical judgment and the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced setting.
