Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. seeks an experienced Physician to join our clinical team on a part-time basis (at least 3 days per week).

You will provide primary and episodic care to residents in skilled nursing facilities, manage your own panel, and build long-term relationships with patients and families. The role offers flexible scheduling with 6-hour morning shifts, charting from home, and productivity-based compensation with a potential retention incentive up to $50,000.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics.
• Valid, unrestricted physician license in state of operation.
• Opted-in with Medicare.
• Residency completed in accredited program.
• Experience in skilled nursing/long-term care preferred.
• Strong independent clinical judgment in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• See 16–25 patients per day, mix of long-term chronic care and acute issues.
• Perform annual wellness visits and H&Ps; manage chronic co-morbid conditions.
• Review meds and orders; coordinate with specialists and facility staff for seamless care.
• Join care conferences with families when appropriate.
• Maintain documentation and continuity of care in the EHR.

Your Day-to-Day

You'll see roughly 16–25 patients a day a mix of long-termchronic care and acute issues. That means annual wellness visits and H&Ps,managing chronic and co-morbid conditions, responding to acute changes,reviewing meds and orders, and coordinating with collaborating specialists andfacility staff to keep care seamless. You'll also stay in touch with familiesand join care conferences where it makes sense.
